Oral
For Seizures
Adults: Start with 1.5 mg/day (divided into 3 doses); increase by 0.5â1 mg every 3 days if needed.
- Max dose: 20 mg/day
Children (<10 years or <30 kg): Start with 0.01â0.03 mg/kg/day (max 0.05 mg/kg/day) in 2â3 divided doses.
For Panic Disorder
- Adults: Start at 0.25 mg/day (in 2 doses) and increase to 1 mg/day after 3 days.
- Children: May increase saliva & bronchial secretions â monitor airway.
- Elderly: More sensitive due to slower metabolism â lower doses recommended.
